These terms govern your use of iTejari - the escrow-backed, card-free marketplace for emerging-market trade. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to them.
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and iTejari. They apply to buyers, suppliers and manufacturers using the marketplace, its RFQ tools and its escrow-backed checkout. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date. Business accounts must supply valid company and trade documents for verification (KYB). You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
Every order is held in escrow. Funds are released to the supplier only when you confirm delivery, or after the dispute window closes without an open dispute. Prices, MOQs and lead times are set by sellers and shown on each listing before you commit.
iTejari is card-free by design. Payment is made in USDT/USDC or by bank transfer (TT). You are responsible for any network, bank or currency-conversion fees. We never store card numbers or take custody of your funds outside the escrow arrangement.
Delivery estimates, incoterms and duty notes are indicative. Import duties, VAT and customs clearance in the destination country are your responsibility unless a DDP arrangement is agreed with the seller.
Suppliers and manufacturers warrant that they are legally able to sell the listed goods, that listings are accurate, and that goods match the agreed specification. Verified status may be revoked for misrepresentation.
You may not use iTejari for illegal goods, sanctioned parties, fraud, or to circumvent escrow. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or applicable law.
If goods are not as described, open a dispute before confirming delivery. iTejari provides a neutral resolution process; escrowed funds are held until the dispute is resolved.
iTejari facilitates trade between buyers and sellers and is not the manufacturer of listed goods. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the affected order.
We may publish updated terms. When a new version is published, the previous version is archived and the effective date is updated. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
